We seek to follow the Bible as our authority in all matters of faith and practice. Our beliefs are consistent with historic Baptist beliefs as expressed, for example, by the 1689 London Baptist Confession.
As Primitive Baptists, our church has the following characteristics:
Firm belief in the doctrine of salvation by the grace of God, including the importance of election, predestination, regeneration, etc.
Worship style characterized by simplicity involving prayer, hymn singing, and preaching.
Warm fellowship among God's people.
What to expect if you are visiting:
We welcome visitors! Our worship service typically consists of about 30 minutes of hymn singing and prayers followed by about 45 minutes of scripture reading and preaching. The worship service finishes at about noon and then we have lunch. Visitors are welcome and encouraged to join us for lunch.
