First Baptist Church Opelika

Founded in the late 1800s, First Baptist Opelika began as a small group of believers committed to proclaiming the gospel in a growing railroad town. Over the decades, the church has expanded in size, reach, and influence—while staying anchored to the same truth: the Bible is God’s Word, and Jesus Christ changes lives.

The Auburn/Opelika communities have a diverse population from university students to retirees and offer 6 worship opportunities for our English congregates on Sunday mornings. We also offer Latino and Korean services each Sunday.
