John and his wife, Lynn, joined Faith Bible Church in 1995. John graduated from Liberty University (B.S. Pastoral Ministry), The Master’s Seminary (M.Div.), and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min.). John’s responsibilities include preaching, training, and discipleship-counseling and he serves on the board of the Fellowship of Independent Reformed Evangelicals (F.I.R.E.). John is also the host of the "Integrated" podcast with Fortis Institute.
John has written several books, including Graciousness: Tempering the Truth with Love, Hope: Living Confidently in God, Upsetting the World, and Tying the Knot Tighter: Because Marriage Lasts for a Lifetime which was co-authored with Martha Peace.
John and Lynn have four children: Charissa, Danielle, Chloe, and Josiah and a growing tribe of grandchildren.
