LaTeia Shed: I would recommend listening to the sermons that cover 1st John by same speaker, or read 1st John. I think the idea is that, based on God's will, which is free from captivity to Sin and Death, He is permitted to chose whom He will to save. And we, dead in sin, are capable and free only to chose those things which are 'evil'; also, without faith it is impossible to please him. A person may know (s)he is saved based on the saving work of Jesus Christ in her life, not based on earning salvation, but a hope that 'He who began a good work in you' will continue it on to completion; It's less about knowing that you are elect than simply knowing that you are changed→saved→God has already proven that he chose you/predestined you by saving you

What a unique perspective! Elilah in his time of despire and fear runs from man to God, and receives great revelation of God, not in His person as Jugde (fire, earth quake and storm) our weakness but in the still small voice of His grace.

Just happened upon this sermon when I needed some encouragement. Just one crumb from the Lord's supply of bread is all I need to sustain my faith.

This is a must read for Christians. I pray that those still trapped in the dispensational idol worship of the natural Israel will read this prayerfully. It will set you free to know your identity in Jesus Christ (from before the foundation of the world); and come to realize that God's promises and blessing are for YOU! Thank you Brother Gunn!

This teaching should be required by all believers, this is much needed today to remove the false teaching of obtaining a crown without suffering the Cross.
