Independent Fundamental KJV Only Bible Believing Baptist
I spent my many years of my life, until the age of 25 (I'm 36 now) in KJV IFB churches. Many middle age men like myself and young men you speak about are seeking truth. Prayerfully, humbly, prostrate before God..seeking God...seeking truth. The Holy Spirit has led me and others to His church. I struggled, in my early years, to defend my IFB roots because they are shallow. A steadfast clutching to the KJV and the vacuum of IFB teaching has no roots, it's a wisp in the historical picture. Church history is the straw that breaks IFB's back. There is no trail of blood as the Primitive Baptists teach. The apostles and the early church fought against many false teachings and corrupt churches, but they didn't put themselves into an independent silo. They maintained accountability. Church history and understanding the early church is what draws so many men to the Catholic Church, not Trump or some celebrity. There are always outliers who get swept up in the emotion (even in KJV churches), they don't last.
