Originally heard you on VCY America but now that I found you on SermonAudio I will listen there also. We (my son 18 year old,Clay listening too) are so weary giving people (all ages) in the church this message that hearing it from you was encouraging and fresh air. Why are so many blind and wallowing in the world ? I wish we could open their eyes and joy would fill their sorrowful lives. We will keep praying and serving..and listening thank you again

Please don't consider my comment for public display l only wanted to encourage Geoff Banister as lve been so blessed & encouraged by what God brought out of these 3 verses & for those who are weak the answers to the weak in Isaiah

Isaiah 35:3 l've used this verse on a rare occasion as an almost throw away or last ditch Word to a brother or sister in Christ who were discouraged and using it somewhat lightheartedly not in a disrespectful way(it would sort of "STOPthem in their tracks" just like it did me) but done in the knowledge of the impact it had on my life ever since the ONE & ONLY time l heard it mentioned in 39 yrs knowing God by a tele evangelist. I've used it often to encourage myself when l feel weak which is a lot I've been very curious to understand this verse for years this morning it was in my devotion so l thought just gotta see if l can find a sermon that would open this Word up for me and l couldn't believe l actually found 1 sermon for which l'm praising God Almighty for, now, l'm not depressed about anything or railing at God but after many years of chronic illness loss of home, family relationships etc l've known times when l've cried out to God WHY??? As l've gone on with God He's taught me why Romans 8:28and very important 29 to conform me to the image of His Son. I've only consciously seen the co

Very significant to hear about the substantial profits Zondervan sustained in the 90's by the bloom and promotion of the NIV. Nobody should understimate this side of the equation.

I realized that the law of liberty is great phrase to understand the gospel. James knew the glory of gospel through this concept between the relationship of law and liberty. I appreciated the emphasis on the law of liberty!

A rewarding sermon. I will hear more of this and encourage others to listen attentively.

Great Sermon !

I listened to this sermon shortly after I had said "I shall now perish one day by the hand of my troubles" My soul cast into a furnace heated seven times more than its wont to be heated and so hedged up with thorns and briars that I oft despaired of any hope, and seeing no light at the end of the tunnel. This sermon gave me some hope, Im not alone in my afflictions. Thank you Mr Banister your sermon encouraged me to press on seeking God even though like Job, forward, backward to the left and right I cannot see Him or perceive Him.
