Thanks for this wonderful explanation of the old covenant and how it is simply insufficient in actually redeeming sinners.

A great sermon that teaches the Master / slave relationship of Jesus to His people that the Holy Spirit inspired in the salutations of this epistle. Sadly that relationship has been obscured by all but a handful of English translations that render the Greek doulos as servant instead of slave which is the true meaning of the word. Thank you Brother Jeff for your diligence in teaching us.

Very good Biblical look at baptism. I’ve enjoyed the entire “mini-series” on the church, actually. Keep plugging along!
