I often honestly wonder how I would respond in this situation. I’d like to think I would be able to drop everything for the Lord. I too if honest am attached to my posessions.

Blessed grace of God in the Lord Jesus, seeking and saving sinners like this woman and like me. This was an encouraging message.

An extremely helpful sermon for anyone with cases of conscience concerning proper Sabbath observance. Far from legalistic, this sermon offers numerous examples and nuances of what is and is not lawful for the Sabbath Day. Highly recommended!

A wonderful Gospel sermon!

What a strange and wonderful thing that the Christian's afflictions are for his good, and the unbeliever's good things are to his hurt. There is truly no blessedness outside of Christ!

Precious words! "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief." (I Timothy 1:15)A must listen!

The Sabbath truly is a joyful "market day" for our souls when we diligently pursue the holy duties of the day!

I listened as suggested by the friends, but didn't find clear Scriptural support. Gavin himself said that God is the only One eligible to authorise or change a day, so dear friends, how can you say that the day is continuing - and changed, both at the same time? This was an opportunity to state the particular interpretation of Reformed Theology for this subject. That is fine for those who wish to go that road. Those conclusions can only be arrived at by applying that system of theology, and charity must allow for those who take at face value Christ's own words..that worship is now in spirit and truth, and not in place or day etc, Christ Himself being the ultimate fulfilment of every Word of Scripture. So, may Christ be the One Object and the goal of all our studies and contemplations. While our focus is on the details of days 'how to' etc etc....it is off Him! Only He can give us the rest which our sin-sick souls require. Let us be glad in Him!

Confused about which day is the sabbath, or if there is still a sabbath day at all? This sermon gives clear scriptural support for the continuation of the sabbath for New Testament believers and also for the change of the sabbath day from the last to the first day of the week.

Have you, like Timothy, been given the gift of a godly heritage? Do not fail to embrace this wonderful gift! A life not spent serving God in the world and in the church is a wasted life, and He gifts every Christian with talents and abilities for His service!

What a humbling thing it is that we do not even know how to pray as we ought, yet what a glorious privilege that the Holy Spirit helps and even teaches us how to pray!
