What a sobering, convicting sermon! As I move closer to old age, this really hits home. From looking around, it seems that it’s easy for people to fall into serious sin in their older years, when they are tired and let their guard down. I need to cling to God ever more closely, asking for help to overcome the sins of grumbling, self-pity, not trusting Him when He brings truly sad and grievous circumstances into my life, etc.

This is a great message on the Pastor’s great task of keeping the sound message of the Kingdom before their congregations. Thank you for this Word!
