Oh how the church needs to hear the message of mortification of sin! “If you, through the Spirit, do mortify the deeds of the body, you will live” ( Rom 8:13b). More than ever before our flesh desires to be entertained, to feel good, and free from making sound eternal decisions. Guarding the heart is a drudgery that will lead more and more people into slavery. Ungodly others will decide for them as the righteous are called to glory.

I thank our great God that you are hearing from heaven. May God bless others so that they will be comforted. I pray that more "Christians" spread the Gospel of grace to all they see.

Seems he’s just an afterthought these days. Because of this few have power. Yet many sing There’s Power in That Name. there’s a failure to show the hearer, as well as a failure to demonstrate to the viewer, how Jesus dealt with the people. There is a total detachment in some cases from the behavior of the people, our Lord dealt with, and how it relates to our own behavior. We go away, thinking we’re not like that other man. The need to see him in our gatherings large and small, in church or in a foreign land lacks desperation. We need to see Jesus. Tthank you for this message.

My soul is always satisfied with the reminded word and work of our Lord. He is always exalted in your preaching and teaching. May he enlarge your boundary.

Your sermons always cause the heart to give praise and thanksgiving unto our God. Even our own God Psalm 67)

Yes. He will build up Zion. You have participated in his labors. He has blessed your hearers in ways no others have. And I thank him for you my brother for your time in searching out the richness of his word and giving us a better understanding of his will. My prayer is that he will lead you to provide a devotional to us. Again, Barrett you have been a true blessing.

Listening to this sermon for more than 20 minutes was well worth it. And it’s true today’s sermons in most churches are so short you don’t have a chance to get warm.
