Second Presbyterian Church

This text in Genesis 32:22-32 has had me wrestling to understand this mysterious text. This sermon out of all the ones I've listened to so far has been the most helpful. Thank you preacher.

It should help anyone who has lost a loved one, after all, B M Palmer lost a son, 4 out of 5 daughters, and his wife when he wrote it. Though John Owen lost all 11 of his children, he never penned a sentence about it. I have always said that the 19th century pastors and teachers, John Angell James, Archibald Alexander, Robert Dabney, William Sprague,Samuel Miller, Ichabod Spencer, were wordsmiths. There's much reverential respect due to the Holy Spirit in every aspect of our daily lives, somehow I feel the Comforter gets neglected alot, yet He plays such importance in the life of every christian. Thank you for acknowledging Him in this beautiful sermon. GOD BLESS YOU.
