The polished arrow

John shows how this chapter refers to Israel, Christ and us. How that when in captivity we feel God has left us and we have laboured for little reward. God gives His promise First He sends comfort & reminds us we are loved and chosen and His polished arrow. We feel a failure but soon this place will be overflowing with blessing when the arrow is released. So be still my soul God is on our side.
